A council-run park open 24 hours a day, with a café, playground, disability play area, basketball and petanque courts, table tennis, bookable tennis courts and toilets. A fountain unveiled in 1909 now serves as a planter, and four heritage trail boards describe the park's history. It has held a Green Flag Award since 2003.
